On behalf of the U.S. Office, I want to strongly condemn those who caused the explosion which caused serious damage to UN vehicles and surrounding property on Monday night in downtown Pristina.  It should be clear to everyone by now that violence of any sort, whether aimed at international organizations, ethnic communities or political groups, will endanger the status process and thereby cause direct harm to the people of Kosovo and their future.  There is no place in Kosovo for such acts.
