U.S. Supports the Democratic Process, Not Any Candidate or Party, November 16, 2007

The U.S. Office in Pristina wishes to emphasize that the U.S. government is strongly supportive of democratic elections in Kosovo, but does not support any particular candidate or party.  News accounts of former US KFOR commanding officer Earhart’s presence at a party rally note that he was there in his private capacity, and not in any way as an official representative of the U.S. government.
